Experience the vibrant creativity of Gurnee at the first-ever Gurnee Arts Festival on the Plaza!
Presented by the Gurnee Arts Commission, this fun-filled outdoor celebration happens Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Welton Plaza on Old Grand Ave.
Enjoy original art displays, live performances, hands-on art activities, and delicious offerings from local food vendors. Artists working in drawing, painting, fiber arts, ceramics, sculpture, photography, and digital illustration are encouraged to apply to exhibit their talents.
I will have a selection of my original paintings as well as framed and unframed prints, greeting cards, and gift items. I will also be doing a soft pastel demo in the Demo Tent from 2:00 - 2:45.
