“By the Pond” Original Painting

Today’s painting “By the Pond.” I was trying to capture that hot humid day, the buzzing insects, trying to stay cool in the shade of a tree along the pond. The way the trees reflect into the water, deep and cool and wet.

There are a lot of subtle metallic effects that I can’t capture with a photo. This is one you have to see in person to truly appreciate!

Measures approximately 9” x 12”, matted to 11” x 14” and ready to frame.
